Atterley debauchery of Boohoo’s commercial director

Edinburgh-based online fashion retailer Atterley has hired Kelly Byrne of the Boohoo Group to become its head of growth.

She left the sales management of the Nasty Gal brand in 2018.

Previously, Byrne was Head of Marketing at Boohoo and held other leadership roles within the group, which also includes PrettyLittleThing, Nasty Gal, MissPap, Karen Millen and Coast. She split her time between working in the UK and the US to develop the Nasty Gal brand.

In her new role at Atterley, she will oversee the company’s growth plans.

Atterley President Mike Welch said: “I am very happy that she is leading Atterley’s growth plans, she is a superstar hired for us.”

Byrne posted on his LinkedIn: “Thank you to all of my amazing colleagues, mentors and most importantly friends who have spent the past 10+ years helping me play a role in building an amazing business.

“Now I’m working alongside the great team at Atterley to take another fantastic brand to the next level and make it a household name. “

Last year Atterley closed a £ 3million funding round led by Maven Capital Partners, after a 200% increase in sales in the first quarter.

Atterley plans to use most of the capital to target consumers in the United States. He had previously received funding commitments from Scottish Enterprise for the plan.
