Christine Quinn Calls Selling Sunset Showrunners ‘Misogynists’ | Entertainment

‘Selling Sunset’ star Christine Quinn has slammed the show’s bosses as ‘misogynistic’, accusing them of only wanting to portray her as a mother.

The reality TV estate agent gave birth to her first child, a son named Christian, last year, but has remained on the show despite taking time off to focus on parenthood.

In series five, she returned to the office but Christine said show bosses told her to focus on her baby, telling Us Weekly: “I had a lot of real estate going on at the time and lots of legit work, but they didn’t want to show my ads.

“They were like, ‘Hey, why don’t you bring the baby to the office?’ and ‘Hey why not do a baby scene with Chelsea (Lazkani)’.

Christine then added: “I felt that was a very misogynistic perception. Yes, I want people to see that (stuff). (But) I’m a mom, a wife, an entrepreneur, a friend, A mistress.

“I follow all these other things and crush them.”

Christine appeared in all five seasons of “Selling Sunset” despite taking time off from work to focus on her baby boy.

She remained a part of the show and in the fifth series, she was seen returning to work after her maternity leave.

However, Christine has now said she has ‘terminated’ her contract with the Oppenheim Group so she can focus on starting her own business.

She started a new crypto real estate business called RealOpen with her husband Christian Dumontet, and the launch left her future on the show uncertain.

Netflix has yet to confirm if “Selling Sunset” will return for a sixth series, but if it does, it may be without Christine if she no longer works for the Oppenheim Group, which is at the center of the drama at hit.
