Aberdeen-based cybersecurity and data hosting company IFB has invested £ 500,000 to accelerate expansion plans, including a new partnership with Brightsolid.

The long-term agreement will provide IFB with access to new data center hosting capacity, with the addition of core network upgrades.

It will also support the company’s business customers with faster internet speeds, increased cybersecurity, and additional support for work in the office and at home.

IFB said it had generated substantial interest in its essential business services since the pandemic resulted in remote working and businesses became more data-driven to continue operating productively.

As part of the agreement, IFB’s UK commercial network will connect to Brightsolid’s secure data centers in Aberdeen and Dundee, integrating them into the current infrastructure to provide secure data hosting, high capacity internet access and local network solutions.

IFB has been providing connectivity, data center cyber protection, cloud and telephony solutions since 1995 and has more than 700 corporate clients in the public sector, business services, education and industrial industries across the UK. United.
