Sharda University signs MoU with PHD Chamber of Commerce

Sharda University has taken a step forward in leading the links between universities and industry by signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, one of the largest and most former business organizations at the top of India. The MoU was signed by Dr Sibaram Khara, Vice Chancellor of Sharda University and Saurabh Sanyal, General Secretary of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry today December 8, 2021 at the campus of the University of Sharda. The signing ceremony was attended by senior faculty members as well as senior officials from both sides.

The PHD Chamber’s position on policy issues is sought after by think tanks, governments, and academia, and its publications are widely read for their in-depth research and policy prescriptions. The MoU will provide Sharda University with easy access to industries under the umbrella of the PHD Chamber of Commerce in a more formal or organized manner. The MoU will also facilitate hands-on exposure for faculty and students by giving them the opportunity to participate in industry-led sessions, webinars, seminars, workshops, internships and internships.

Sharda University and PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry have mutually agreed to hold a university-industry meeting on the next World Intellectual Property Day, i.e. April 26, 2021, to Presenting technologies developed by innovative professors and students of Sharda University to industries to not only identify opportunities for technology transfer, but also to strengthen ties continuously and autonomously. Dr Sibaram Khara, Vice Chancellor of Sharda University, at the signing ceremony, highlighted the continued efforts of both sides to identify areas of cooperation in the wider interest of the community. The Dean of Research, Dr Bhuvnesh Kumar and the Head of the IPR Cell, Professor Avinash Kumar coordinated the meeting.
