Solid Hires FX Industry Veteran Darren Barker for Multi-Bank ECN Business Development

Solid has appointed Darren Barker as Head of Business Development as part of its Multi-Bank ECN and Non-Bank Market Maker expansion efforts for its Institutional FX Trading and Trading team.

Netherlands-based Solid recently formed a strategic partnership with UK-based multi-asset liquidity provider BidX Markets to team up in a global institutional offering for investors and corporates.

Darren Barker is a FX industry veteran with over 30 years of experience spanning a wide range of roles including risk management, market making and client relationship management, with a focus on hedge funds, CTAs, asset managers and family offices. Prior to joining Solid, he worked on growing and developing prime brokerage-based businesses for major brokerage firms within the FX Agency space.
