Toktok app reaches new milestone with 2 million app downloads

MANILA, Philippines — Toktok, the first multi-purpose app in the Philippines integrating an e-wallet and transportation and delivery features, has reached a new milestone with 2 million app downloads.

Toktok, like many game-changing innovations, started out of necessity. Due to the increased need for delivery services, the founders, young innovative business tycoons, Jonathan So and Carlito Macadangdang, created and developed toktok.

During the pandemic, Cloud Panda Ph, an IT company made up of Filipino developers, created the super application Toktok. The two computer programmers, So and Macadangdang, supervised and shared their expertise in application development.

Toktok was first created to help other companies in So and Macadangdang (Siomai King, Coppermask, Boy Bondat, and JC) with logistical issues. Gradually it expanded to serve a larger market, eventually becoming national.
